HEAR TRACK 4, "I DON'T KNOW WHERE I WAS GOING WITH THIS"
Track 4 from The Fakeout, the Tease and the Breather is up, people, and it's a real doozy. It was hard holding this one back from you for four whole weeks...

For us in the band, it's the little things that remind us why we make music: a lighter aloft at a show, a tear-stained fan letter, the selection of our most heartfelt song as the backing track for a YouTube tribute to a pro wrestler... But convincing our moms and dads that this is a legitimate and worthwhile enterprise can be tougher. However, I've found that having our own Wikipedia page certainly helps. We've gotta make some updates to reflecting what we're up to currently, but it's basically there. Feel free to update it, yourself, with all sorts of false information... just as long as it's also funny.

In the weeks leading up to the release show, there should be a fair amount of press from all sorts of places. But leave it to those news-hungry music blogs to catch wind of things before we've even gotten around to sending out press kits. The Deli calls our upcoming record "one of the more anticipated releases of the Spring" and singles out their favorite track, "Becoming You," as "simply irresistible." Meanwhile, Chi-Town Notes has decided that the record is "yet another reason it is a great time to be an indie music fan living in Chicago." In the words of Bottle Rocket's Dignan, "Thank you. Cause if I said that one, it would sound like bragging."
