Greetings, good gentlepeople…
Dropping in on you like a falling maple leaf, Canasta is here to get the fall rolling. We’re pleased to announce that on Monday, November 11th, we’ll be making our return to one of our absolute favorite venues, Schubas! We’ll be joining Kate Myers and poet Marc Kelly Smith (founder of the Poetry Slam movement!) in support of our good friend, Cameron McGill, as he holds the venue’s month-long “Practice Space” residency. Some of you may recall that Cameron did us the very same honor and opened up for us, back when we were that residency’s currators. It’s been quite awhile since we’ve rocked the Schubas stage, so we’re can’t wait. What’s even more exciting is that we’re planning to debut a brand new tune for your eager ears… the first to be unveiled from our next record! So set your Facebook statuses to “going” and we’ll save you a spot on the ol’ Schubas bench!
